DIANA swimwear is an Italian maker of swimwear for swimming and waterpolo. Diana swimwear dates from 1955, made with some of the first elasticized fabrics. In 1975 Diana patented the now classic waterpolo suit and waterpolo cap. The brand name comes from mythology, Diana the hunting goddess, with an arrow shape in the brand logo. Diana started in 1947 making lingerie, before branching out into swimwear, in particular competitive swimwear.
