Phax is a Columbian brand started in 1991 and launched the Phax swimwear brand in 2005. As a designer label for bikinis and swimsuits, Phax has grown into a leading swimwear collection in part due to it using lingerie and swimsuit model Melissa Giraldo in its shoots. Phax make women's swimwear and cruise wear, along with beach lifestyle glamour accessories including shoes and bags in a broad range of styles, colours and prints. Their classic Latin-cut swimwear, often referred to as Brazilian bikinis, is a two-piece suit with a narrow-cut bottom: this Latin expression isn't as explicit as a thong or g-string bottom, which bare the buttocks in entirety, but a more modest yet still sexy look. A sexy yet classy swimsuit style originating in South America, popularised in Europe, and now growing in demand in the USA.
